Marie T. Budzynski, 80, of Hudson section of Plains died
Monday evening in the Hospice Inpatient Unit of Geisinger
South Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Hudson, she was the daughter of the late John and
Louise Furman Budzynski. She was a life long resident of
Hudson and was educated in Plains Township schools. She
worked in the local garment industry until her retirement and
was a member of the former St. Joseph Church, Hudson and
Ss. Peter and Paul Church, Plains. Marie was preceded in
death by brothers Joseph and Charles Budzynski.
Surviving is Marie’s life long companion and care giver Ron
Smith, Wilkes-Barre and several cousins.
Marie’s funeral will be conducted Saturday with a Funeral
Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Ss. Peter and Paul Church, Plains.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Hudson. Family
and friends are invited to call at the church from 9:00 a.m. to
